The LED must use DC power, so we must use the AC transformer to make your 110v~240v AC to the DC.
We default to use the MW brand AC transformer for our LED signage products, for this brand AC transformer is the best we can get, please check their website: http://www.meanwell.com/ to know their products. If your signage would be used outdoor or the wet location, we suggest to use the water-proof AC transformer, and if your signage would be used indoor and it is dry, we suggest to use the normal AC transformer. For the normal AC transformer could dissipate heat quickly so that it would have better life time. We suggest to place the AC transformer close your signage, else the wire resistance would wast the power and make the lighting of your LED signage weaker. We suggest to make the distance between the AC transformer and your LED signage in 5 meter, about 16 ft.
Every individual part of your LED signage have two cables, one is for the positive another is for the negative. All the cables of your signage need to be linked together in parallel, then link to the output of the AC transformer and make the input of the AC transformer link to your AC source.
